Automation Technology’s TCR-100 Turns Counter & Resistance Meter is a precision instrument capable of measuring resistance from 0.0001Ώ to 12,000 Ώ with automatic temperature compensation. A second mode of operation allows the TCR-100 to determine the number of turns in a coil. This instrument is ideally suited to measure the resistance and number of turns in shed wound coils. Total turns and turns within each of the distributed coils can easily and quickly be determined.

Automation Technology’s model S-100 Portable Automatic Surge and Corona Test System indicates the quality of the magnet wire insulation and the consistency of the manufacturing process.  This is done by analyzing the inductance of the part under test while a high voltage potential is present between the turns of wire. The System can detect manufacturing variations or faults, insulation faults, and variations in materials.
